None of my Business S3:E13- Jeff and Brandi Buller

Bonus episode for season 3!  I thought season 3 had wrapped, but I had an opportunity to bring in some dynamic business owners and I am just not willing to wait 2 months to put this out.  Jeff and Brandi Buller came in and we had an amazing conversation about some important things.

Their story is fascinating.  These two started dating while they were managing  Dutch Bros. locations in Oregon. Six weeks after they started dating, the founder of Dutch Bros., Travis Boersma, asked them to move over 500 miles together, to run stands in another state.  How’s that for a 4th date?    They took the challenge head-on, and in 2013, they got married and became business owners.

We talk a lot about the culture.  Dutch Bros. culture is borderline legendary and I am always fascinated by how it got there and how it is sustained.  We discuss developing employees into better people. Not just better at their job, but better human beings.

I wanted to know what it is like to work with the population known as Millenials.  A lot has been written about this generation and I don’t think there is a better authority to ask, than the owners of a Dutch Bros.

We discuss what it is like running a business while being married to your business partner.  It takes special people to be able to do that well.  It takes the proper blend of patience, grace, humility, open-mindedness, and compassion and you can hear all of those qualities in the podcast.   Thank you to Brandi and Jeff for coming in and sharing your story!
