About 6 months ago Farmers rolled out a program on our auto product that is amazing. The problem is, they didn’t do a stellar job of letting people know about it. In certain states, including Idaho, qualified drivers had some benefits rolled onto their auto insurance. These are:
Accident Forgiveness – Policyholders who have been accident free for three years with Farmers, qualify for accident forgiveness which prevents the premium from being increased due to an accident. As long as the policyholder continues to renew their policy, this benefit can be used to forgive one accident (by an insured or permissive driver) every three years – regardless of who is at fault in the accident.
Incident Forgiveness – After the policy has been in effect for six months, the premium will not be increased due to a new minor traffic violation, such as speeding or improper passing.
Guaranteed Renewal – After the policy has been in effect for six months, it will continue to be renewed regardless of any claims that have been submitted. Since policy renewal is guaranteed, customers won’t need to look for coverage with another insurance company unless they choose to. Please note: policies may still be non-renewed for other legally permissible reasons (e.g. non-pay or material misrepresentation).
I have been doing many reviews with clients who have this on their policy but weren’t aware. Give the office a call if you would like to know if you are enjoying these benefits. 208-939-7123
