Simply Explaining Insurance #93- What kind of Agent is best for Millennials

What kind of insurance agent works best with the Millennial generation? There are few things to look at for the best fit.

All the research shows that Millennials like things quickly. They like things now. An agency that is quick to respond and has the technology to do so is important. For example, can they text your office? Can then message you on Instagram or Facebook messenger? Can they find you on social channels? Can they esign documents? Can the agency fulfill a need in a quick easy transaction? These are all things that they will be looking for.

The other thing the research shows, is they want to align with an expert. Someone who they can not only reach quickly but someone who will give them sound, solid advice. Someone who will offer them the right policies to fulfill their immediate need. It took me, as an insurance agency owner about a decade to become a true expert in my field.

A real professional relationship is important as well. They want to be able to call up and talk to the same people. They want people who know who they are. What their needs are and can pivot to those needs quickly. An agency with low turnover in staff and an agent who is present in the day to day operations is also attractive to this generation.
