This podcast is with Tricia Anderson who owns The Bodacious Pig right here in Eagle Idaho. I happen to work about 80 feet from this restaurant and it is one of our favorites (try the pulled pork nachos or tri tip sandwich/pig style). This is actually her second restaurant after successfully running a BBQ restaurant in California.
We discuss how she got into the industry and how tough the restaurant industry really is. We discuss what is more important; location, food or service. Tricia and her husband Joel had an important epiphany recently. Joel had always wanted to be a teacher and hadn’t yet fulfilled that dream. After helping run two restaurants and having a family, he went back to school and is now a full time teacher. Thank you so much to Tricia for coming in and sharing her story with me.
