On this episode, I have Mark Anderson who is the owner of Ultra Clean Restoration here in the Treasure Valley. Mark has owned this company for a few years now and we do chat about his experience with buying and running it.
Ultra Clean isn’t the first thing I wanted to touch on in this interview though. It was the fact that he won a reality TV show on the Food Network and has completed two seasons of his very own show for the network called “The Grill Dads”.
I’d never met anyone who had done anything like this so I was very interested in everything about it. How did he get on it? What was the process like? How much really makes it onto an episode? How far in advance is this filmed?
I learned that the process of putting a show like this is very streamlined and incredibly intentional. It’s all about putting together something that people will want to watch. They know how to keep your attention. This was all very interesting to me because I believe that is what business owners need to be doing when it comes to marketing. How do you get in front of your target market, get their attention and keep it?
Before the show, Mark worked for a large ad agency who produced content and put together events for large companies. We discuss what that experience was like and what he learned.
Mark has all of this unique and exciting experience and I was excited to hear about and how he has taken all he’s learned and folded it into his new venture. My thanks to Mark for coming on and sharing all of his experiences with me for you to hear.
