On this podcast I have George Seybold the founder and owner of Talloo. George is a lifelong entrepreneur who has built companies in the tech space for a few decades.
He cut his teeth in the tech world back when the world wide web was just getting its start to all of us in the civilian world. He learned his craft by doing and is essentially a self-taught computer nerd. He built a company in the late ’90s in Austin when there was a gold rush in the tech world. We chat about how nuts that time was in that industry.
After the tech bubble burst, he came back to Boise and dabbled in some local work. He landed with a big company called Weyerhaeuser and worked on the marketing side of things. This ended up being a great experience for him and he learned quite a bit to add to his skill set.
He then went to Verizon to learn about subscription services. What a great company to learn this specific business model from. This ended up being a great move for him as well.
All of this background and experience let him to want to build Talloo. Talloo is a company creating a community of sales professionals that are aligned to help each other grow their businesses. They do this through an online network to connect these each other. There is a rich app that is used for this purpose.
There is also a design to have a physical brick and mortar location for these professionals to meet or to bring clients. I really like the blend of technology and real-world meeting space. I am really excited to see this business continue to take form and grow.
My thanks to George for coming on and sharing his story! Please find him and reach out to him!
